After her completion on 29 09 1956 as HMS SINGLETON she was placed into the Reserve
Fleet at HYTHE.


Purchased by AUSTRALIA in 1961 and commissioned into the Royal Australian Navy on
07 09 1962 renamed : HMAS IBIS  M 1183.
Decommissioned on 04 05 1984 and a year later sold to be broken up.
