SHORT HISTORY :
She joined the US Lighthouse Service on 04 10 1927 as the WILLOW. In 1939 the US Lighthouse
Service merged with U.S. COAST GUARD and the WILLOW was designated as a Coast Guard
Cutter till on 15 12 1944 she collided with the USS LST 841 and was badly damaged.
She was decommissioned on 01 03 1945 and trasferred to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to be
used as a Quarters Boat.
In 1962 she was sold to a businessman. In 1972 she was sold to a Britisch Compagnie Themes
International...............................................................................................???.
In 1996 she arrived at Benalmadena SPAIN were she was used as a floating bar and restaurant
till 1998 under the name MISSISSIPPI WILLOW
She's now rusting away at her berth but still afloat.
