After decommissioning she was laid up in the reserve fleet of Bayonne, New Jersey. In 1965 she
was moved to the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard, Pennsylvania reservefleet.
Stricken from the Navy list on 01 03 1970 she was sold for scrapping on 18 08 1971.
